Budget With Purpose. Protect Your Peace. Build Financial Clarity

Financial hardship doesn’t always start with job loss.

Financial abuse doesn’t always look obvious.

And budgeting isn’t just about numbers.

AfroBudgetinGirl helps you understand your money, your environment, and your blind spots — so you can prevent, navigate, or rebuild from financial instability with clarity. Whether you're starting your first budget or recovering from financial pressure, this space was created for you.

 Why This Platform Exists?

I created AfroBudgetinGirl because I’ve seen what financial silence can do. I witnessed financial abuse growing up. I didn’t have the language for it until I was 30. I’ve lived through financial hardship — job loss, health setbacks, plans collapsing unexpectedly. And I’ve learned this: most people aren’t bad with money. They were never shown how to see the risks early.

This platform exists to help you see clearly — before it costs you peace, time, or stability.

This Is for You If…
You’re new to budgeting and want to avoid common traps. You feel financial pressure in your relationship but can’t explain why. You’re earning but still feel unstable. You want to protect yourself, your children, and your future. You don’t just want a budget — you want awareness.

I combine reflection with structure.

Inside the “Budget With Purpose page”, you’ll find the full system — including the webinar, free resources, and practical tools to guide you step by step.

For deeper work, the “200 Questions Budgeting With Purpose Workbook” helps you uncover blind spots that lead to financial hardship or imbalance.

The “Yearly Budget Tracker” gives you a full-year view so you stop living month to month.

If you’re just beginning, the “Budget Bliss Diary” offers a soft, guided start.

And when your mindset needs strengthening, the “Motivational Money Cards” bring you back to clarity.

This isn’t generic budgeting.

It’s financial self-protection with structure.

How I Help You Budget With Purpose

Why I Write About Financial Hardship & Financial Abuse

Because silence keeps people stuck.

We talk about saving. We rarely talk about control. We talk about debt. We rarely talk about power imbalance.

We talk about budgeting. We rarely talk about fear.

I write about real-life money experiences so you can recognise patterns early, feel seen, and make informed decisions.

Awareness is prevention. Awareness is protection.

Breaking Cycles Through Financial Literacy for Kids

My mum lived in poverty and experienced financial abuse. She taught me early to be financially independent.

It protected me. But it also left me with fear.

I wanted something different for my children — confidence instead of anxiety.

That’s why I created “How To Be a Money Smarty?” — an ebook that helps children understand money calmly and helps parents teach it without passing down fear.

Legacy is built intentionally.

From Scarcity to Legacy

My mum lived in poverty. I lived in scarcity. My children will have a legacy.

As an Accountant and Tax Professional, I understand money technically.

Through lived experience, I understand it emotionally.

AfroBudgetinGirl brings both together — to help you build stability that lasts.

You deserve clarity.

You deserve structure.

You deserve protection.
